Roger Federer’s Hall of Fame Induction Sells Out in Two Minutes
Roger Federer’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony sold out in two minutes — even after event organizers added thousands more tickets for an outdoor watch party, the The International Tennis Hall of Fame said on Wednesday.

“As a small but historic venue, our capacity is limited,” the Hall posted on social media.
Federer, the first man to win 20 major titles, will be inducted in Newport on Aug. 29 along with broadcaster Mary Carillo. In addition to the 900 tickets originally available for the induction ceremony, the Hall will open its 3,600-seat stadium for a watch party.
The Tennis Hall of Fame recently underwent a $3 million renovation of its museum (which reopened in May of 2025) to prepare for upcoming induction ceremonies to honor Federer and other greats of the game, such as Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, and Serena and Venus Williams.

Fans are invited to join a waitlist for tickets, with the “Ultimate Experience Package” listing for $18,000, which includes three days of activities, including a doubles event featuring Federer himself on August 28.
