It has been a difficult season for Dimitrov, who dropped to 23-18 on the year after a loss to Mikhail Kukushkin at last week’s Erste Bank Open. Dimitrov had his best season in 2017, going 49-19 with four titles and finishing at No.3 in the world after claiming the Nitto ATP Finals title in London in November. The Bulgarian, currently ranked No.10 in the world, is set to face either Steve Johnson or Roberto Bautista Agut in the second round after a first-round bye. ]]>
