A week before the Australian Open starts, the world’s top two will face off in Korea.

World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and No. 2 Jannik Sinner have arrived in Korea for their lucrative exhibition clash set for Saturday, January 10th.

The pair will each earn €2,000,000, which is about $2.33 Million dollars, according to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport.

The match is a rematch of the ATP Finals title match in Turin, which Sinner won 7-6(4), 7-5.

Overall, Alcaraz leads their head-to-head series 10-6. The pair have squared off in an Open Era-record three consecutive Grand Slam finals.

This exhibition will be Alcaraz and Sinner’s primary preparation for the Australian Open, which starts on January 18th.

Sinner is playing for an AO three-peat, and to join Novak Djokovic as the second man in the Open Era to win three consecutive Melbourne championships.

The 22-year-old Alcaraz is bidding to become the youngest man to complete the career Grand Slam in Melbourne Park.
