Top-seeded Kostyuk rifled past 38-year-old Tatjana Maria, 6-3, 6-0, while Podrez advanced via walkover, as Sorana Cirstea was forced to pull out with a leg injury.

28th-ranked Kostyuk will bid for her second career title in her fifth career final, while No. 209-ranked Podrez, aged 19, will bid for her first. Podrez, who earned wins over Sloane Stephens, Elisabetta Cocciaretto and Katie Boulter to reach the semifinals, is making her WTA main draw debut.

A Ukrainian will win the title in Rouen in consecutive seasons, as Elina Svitolina took the title last year.

Kostyuk needed just 59 minutes to dispatch Maria. She saved all four break points she faced and broke the German’s serve five times.
