Starpower in the Desert: Seeds in Action on Friday in Indian Wells

Jannik Sinner, Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka, Ben Shelton, Victoria Mboko, Amanda Anisimova. Just a few of the massive names in action as the seeds take the court for their second-round matches on Friday in the California desert.

And don’t forget about the potential last match of Gael Monfils. The 39-year-old Frenchman takes on Felix Auger-Aliassime on Stadium 3. After that 18-year-old Iva Jovic makes her return to Southern California, against Camila Osorio.

Then, it’s Alexandra Eala making her BNP Paribas Open debut as a seeded player, against Dayana Yastremska. The schedule is so good we see marquee players like Arthur Fils on Stadium 5. There’s also women’s, including Siniakova and Townsend, the top seeds, against Raducanu and Ruse. And on Stadium 6 Mirra Andreeva and Victoria Mboko will take on Elise Mertens and Zhang Shuai.

Too much good tennis.
