Novak Djokovic will launch his 2026 season in Adelaide.
Grand Slam king Djokovic will headline the Adelaide International set for January 12-17th, the tournament announced today.

Former world No. 1 Djokovic headlines a men’s field that features Tommy Paul, Jack Draper, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Jiri Lehecka and Joao Fonseca.
Djokovic, who reached the semifinals at all four Grand Slam tournaments in 2025, is playing Adelaide to tune up for the Australian Open where he will play for a record-extending 25th Grand Slam championship.
“The 2026 edition of the Adelaide International will showcase the tournament’s continued growth and prestige on the global tennis calendar as it attracts world-class caliber from both the WTA and ATP tours,” Adelaide Tournament Director Alicia Molik said.
“With Grand Slam champions, Olympic medalists and breakthrough stars confirmed, the field demonstrates why the Adelaide International has become a must-play event for players ahead of the Australian Open.”
On the women’s side, four Top-10-ranked players—reigning Australian Open champion Madison Keys, 2024 US Open finalist Jessica Pegula, Mirra Andreeva and Ekaterina Alexandrova—lead a field that features former gold-medal champion Belinda Bencic, Clara Tauson, Emma Navarro and Paula Badosa.
The top-seeded Djokovic defeated Sebastian Korda 6-7(8), 7-6(3), 6-4 to capture the 2023 Adelaide 1 championship. Last January, Felix Auger-Aliassime beat Korda to win the Adelaide title.
