Jana Fett has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for three banned substances.
The 29-year-old Croatian tested positive for three prohibited substances, SARM Ostarine (S-22), a metabolite of LGD-4033, and metabolites of GW501516 while representing Croatia in Billie Jean King Cup competition on November 16th, 2025.

The International Tennis Integrity Agency announced her suspension today.
Fett, who reached a career-high rank of No. 97 in October of 2017, has not appealed her mandatory suspension, which went into effect on December 22nd.
Here’s the ITIA’s news release on Fett’s positive test:
The sample was split into A and B samples and the subsequent analysis found that the A sample contained three prohibited substances, SARM Ostarine (S-22), a metabolite of LGD-4033, and metabolites of GW501516. The B sample was analysed on Wednesday 14 January, and confirmed the findings of the A sample.
The substances are prohibited under the TADP in the categories of Other Anabolic Agents (Section S1.2) and Metabolic Modulators (Section S4.4) of the 2025 Prohibited List.
As two of the substances are non-Specified substances, a mandatory provisional suspension is required.
While provisionally suspended, Fett is prohibited from “playing in, coaching at, or attending any tennis event authorised or sanctioned by the members of the ITIA (ATP, ITF, WTA, Tennis Australia, Fédération Française de Tennis, Wimbledon and USTA) or any national association,” the ITIA announced.
Last April, Fett played through qualifying and upset former Wimbledon semifinalist Donna Vekic to reach the Stuttgart round of 16 where she lost to Iga Swiatek in straight sets.
Fett, who reached the round of 16 in Bastad last July, lost in the last round of qualifying at both the US Open and Wimbledon. More recently, Fett has been playing on the Challenger circuit. She reached the quarterfinals of a WTT W75 event in Portugal last October.
