Welcome to the summer of Alexander Bublik.

Supreme shotmaker Bublik beat Frenchman Arthur Cazaux 6-4, 6-3 in today’s Kitzbuhel final to capture his second straight clay-court championship.

The top-seeded Bublik won his third title of the season. It came one week after Bublik blasted 13 aces and dabbed disarming drop shots defeating Juan Manuel Cerundolo 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 in the Swiss Open Gstaad final.

“I can’t believe I did it as it was probably one of the toughest weeks in my life because coming from Gstaad, playing here, different conditions and raining,” Bublik said. “I am pleased I got through and thank you for supporting me throughout the tournament.”

The 28-year-old Bublik, who improved to 7-7 in career finals, has won three of the past four tournaments he’s contested, including defeating world No. 1 Jannik Sinner en route to last month’s Halle title on grass.
