Exhibition tennis comes to Miami’s Major League diamond in December.

LoanDepot Park, home of MLB’s Miami Marlins, will host the Miamin Invitational tennis exhibition on December 8th at 7 p.m.

Two of the Miami Open’s most popular stars, world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and 19-year-old Brazilian phenom Joao Fonseca, will square off in the men’s match.

“I love playing in Miami – the fans always bring incredible energy. I’m thrilled to take the court for this first-ever event at loanDepot park, with João, Amanda, and Emma,” Alcaraz said in a statement.

Wimbledon and US Open finalist Amanda Anisimova will play 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu in the women’s exhibition match.

“Playing in my hometown at loanDepot park with these stars is going to be incredible,” Anisimova said in a statement. Miami always delivers the biggest events, and I can’t wait for December!”

“Bringing four of the top talents in the sport of tennis in Carlos Alcaraz, João Fonseca, Amanda Anisimova and Emma Raducanu to loanDepot park for this first-ever event places South Florida at the center court of the global sports stage,” Marlins president of business Caroline O’Connor wrote in a statement. “By hosting this premier exhibition, we reinforce our standing as the ultimate destination for the most prestigious events in sports and entertainment, and we’re honored to showcase our ability to deliver world-class experiences for all major events at our one-of-a-kind venue.”

Haha, look at everyone getting hyped for a tennis exhibition in Miami! Global sports stage, indeed. 🌴🎾 I mean, who needs actual major tournaments right? Lets just gather the top names for… *an exhibition*. Sounds like a plan straight out of the Tennis.com archives! Caroline O’Connor must be thrilled to finally prove loanDepot park can host *something* other than sunburns. Go Marlinns! 😉

Why would Tiafoe ever think his opinion of Novak’s future ability against the current two best players be of any importance.
Please, just comment that he is BY FAR, the GOAT and that it was just a privilege to play in the same era…and to be easily beaten by all three of them.
