Trickery aside (there were too many 'tweener attempts to count: see video above), Zverev was the steadier and fitter athlete in this affair, and also more determined. He saved all eight break points he faced to gain his first victory over Kyrgios in three tries and extend his winning streak to seven matches.The 20-year-old will move on to face South Africa’s Kevin Anderson in the quarterfinals.
