Feliciano Lopez is Being Groomed to Take over as Madrid Tournament Director
Feliciano Lopez set to become Madrid Tournament Director in 2019. Spanish tennis legend and five-time major champion Manolo Santana will step down at the end of this season and Lopez, who has signed on to be Santana’s Assistant Tournament Director in 2018, will take over.More: Noah Reups with French Davis Cup Team for 2018 Title Defense The tournament also announced that Santana will be announced as the Lifetime Honorary President of the tournament.
