Djokovic Slips out of ATP’s Top 3 for First Time Since 2009
Novak Djokovic has dropped out of the ATP’s Top 3 for the first time since November of 2009, and Rafael Nadal has returned to the Top 2 for the first time since 2014. Djokovic's run of 325 weeks in the Top 2 has now ended.
On June 12, Novak Djokovic will not be No. 1 or No. 2 in Emirates #ATP Rankings for first time since March 20, 2011 (325 consecutive weeks).

It’s been that type of season on the ATP Tour, one that has seen Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal take the season’s first two Grand Slam titles while Andy Murray and Djokovic have struggled to locate their sweet spots.

If Nadal can pick up some points on grass this summer he can make up more ground on Murray as the race to No.1 heats up this summer.
