Reigning AO champion Madison Keys joins Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova, Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro as one of five American women in the Top 15 of the AO entry list.

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, who fell to Keys in the 2025 final, is playing for her third AO crown in the last four years.

Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek is competing to complete the career Grand Slam by winning her maiden Australian Open title.

Ninety-nine of the world’s Top 100-ranked men and 98 of the Top 100 women are on the list and scheduled to compete at Melbourne Park.

Two-time AO men’s champion Jannik Sinner aims to become the first man to three-peat at Melbourne Park since 10-time champion Novak Djokovic did it in 2021. Grand Slam king Djokovic, who has captured four of the last seven Australian Open championships, is bidding for a record-extending 25th Grand Slam crown—and first since he won the 2023 US Open.

World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, who has yet to surpass the Australian Open quarterfinals, including his quarterfinal loss to Djokovic last January, is playing to complete the career Grand Slam by winning his maiden AO championship.

Alcaraz and Sinner squared off in an Open Era-record three consecutive Grand Slam finals last year and have split the last eight Grand Slam championships.

Australian Open qualifying is set for January 12-15th. The Australian Open main draw will be contested January 18th-February 1st, 2026.
