Anisimova Withdraws from U.S. Open after Father’s Sudden Passing
Amanda Anisimova’s father and longtime coach Konstantin Anisimov was found dead on Monday, according to an ESPN report that cited her agent’s confirmation. Her withdrawal from the U.S. Open became official on Tuesday.

Anisimova has been one of the brightest stories on the WTA Tour this year. She reached the semi-finals at Roland Garros and has cracked the Top 25.Anisimova’s family has not made a statement yet.
