Serena Williams continues to play coy on comeback reports.

One of her practice partners is far more definitive on the 23-time Grand Slam champion’s shot of success stating Serena will drop the hammer if she does in fact comeback.

Serena Williams is eligible to return to competition on February 22nd.

Alycia Parks, who said she practiced with the former world No. 1 last Monday, told Tennis Majors Serena “would kill it on Tour” if she comes back.

“She is in great shape. So I think she would kill it on tour,” Parks told Tennis Majors in an exclusive interview.

The 44-year-old Serena Williams has not played a match since bowing to Ajla Tomljanovic at the 2022 US Open. Serena is officially eligible to return to the pro circuit later this month.

Serena applied for reinstatement to the WTA Tour, Bounces’ Ben Rothenberg reported late last year. Bounces reported Serena actually had hoped to be reinstated to play the 2025 US Open doubles alongside sister Venus Williams, however paperwork was not filed in time. Venus Williams went on to partner former US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez and the pair, enjoying massive support from Louis Armstrong Stadium fans, made an inspired run to the US Open quarterfinals.

In December, Serena flat-out denied comeback reports on social media.

However, in an interview with The Today Show, Serena refused to deny or confirm comeback reports instead dancing around the topic.

Asked about the re-entering the anti-doping testing pool, Williams said: “Did I re-enter? I don’t know if I was out. Listen, I can’t discuss this,” she said, laughing.

When host Savannah Guthrie told Williams this was her opportunity to put rumors to rest, Williams declined to deny the comeback is coming.

“If I want to put it to bed … Listen, I want to go to bed — it’s early,” Serena said.

Serena, the mother of two daughters, has shed 34 pounds on the weight-loss drugs and regained the six-pack abs she had during her peak playing days. Serena also told The Today Show she has been training for a half marathon.

The owner of 73 career singles titles appears to have another pro tennis run within.

OLE MAN RIVER

Oh please, please come back, you over the hill, princess of the WOKE-FOLK tennis world! You can’t beat father time, no matter how good you were, ask The Joker that only got as far as he did because one round was a gift, didn’t need to lift the racket: another one was handed to him after being down two sets to Massetti, who’s weak as spaghetti! This allowed him to be fresh enough to squeak by Sinner, hats off to him for that!
As far as Serena, she too would secede to the upper echelon of woman’s tennis if she was foolish enough to attempt a comeback! I’d like to see her royal highness be embarrassed. Woman’s tennis is soft as only a very few are of the upper echelon, and the rest just don’t pass the test!
By all means, please comeback, it won’t be like old times, the only thing old will be you and your game, practice is one thing, the real deal is not a steal!
