Venus Williams is living her happily ever after.
The 45-year-old Venus wed long-time partner, 37-year-old Italian actor and model Andrea Preti, last weekend in Palm Beach, Florida.

A radiant Venus looked gorgeous clad in a white wedding gown.
The Florida wedding follows an earlier ceremony on September 18th in Ischia, Italy.
“We all love each other so much,” Venus told Vogue Magazine. “It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day.”
Four-time gold-medal champion Venus told Vogue it felt like fate when the couple met at a 2024 Milan Fashion week event as neither initially planned to attend the event. Ultimately, Venus and Andrea did attend where they met in the start of a storybook romance.
“We met at the Gucci show,” Venus told Vogue. “Neither of us was planning on being there. He was tired, and I was in Lake Como on a sisters’ trip when I got an invite at the last minute and decided to go on a whim. We were both at a show that we weren’t supposed to be at.”
Former model Preti said he felt an immediate connection with Venus and six months after that initial meeting they got engaged on January 31st, 2025 in Tuscany.
“I saw V and wanted to introduce myself,” Preti told Vogue. “She was on the sofa with her friends and family. I told her, ‘You’re so beautiful,’ and then she started speaking with me in Italian.
“We had a little talk, and I asked if she wanted a drink. I went to the bar to get something, and her sister Lyn came to me and said, ‘Do you mind if we start a WhatsApp conversation? I think my sister likes you.’”
The couple has been inseparable since their engagement.
During her comeback tournament in Washington, DC in July, the 45-year-old Venus shared how Preti inspired her return to the pro circuit.

“My fiancée is here. He really encouraged me to keep playing. Do you know how hard it is to play tennis? It’s 9 to 5 except you’re running the whole time” 😭😭😭😭

In her post-match interview with former doubles No. 1 Renee Stubbs after winning her first pro match in 709 days, a beaming Venus confirmed her engagement to Andrea Preti. Williams credited her fiancé for inspiring her comeback saying he had never seen her play in person before her triumphant Washington return.
“My fiancé is here and he really encouraged me to keep playing,” Venus told Renee Stubbs in her on-court interview. “There were so many times where I just wanted to coast and kind of chill. Do you know how hard it is to play tennis? You guys don’t know how much work goes into this, like it’s 9 to 5 except you’re running the whole time.”
“Lifting weights and just like dying and then you repeat it the next day. So he encouraged me to get through this and it’s wonderful to be here. He’s never seen me play.”
The Florida wedding party actually spanned five days with family and close friends helping former No. 1 Venus celebrate.

Sister Serena Williams provided a crucial assist gifting Venus a yacht as a wedding president that the newlyweds used to host wedding parties.
“Serena gave us this gift of a beautiful yacht, and she arranged all the food, everything,” Venus Williams told Vogue. “We had 10 to 12 of our closest family and friends who were in town on the boat, and we were singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other.”
