Hard Rock Stadium continues to be a dead-end drive for top seeds.
A day after Sebastian Korda toppled world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, seeded contenders Daniil Medvedev and Felix Auger-Aliassime both bit the dust at the Miami Open.

Today’s upsets mean seven of the Top 10 men’s seeds are out: Alcaraz, Lorenzo Musetti (withdrew), Ben Shelton, Alex de Minaur, Medvedev, Auger-Aliassime and Alexander Bublik.
Those departures leave No. 2 Jannik Sinner, No. 3 Alexander Zverev and No. 6 Taylor Fritz as the only three Top 10 seeded men still standing.
Down match point, Medvedev double faulted into net ending his 6-0, 4-6, 7-5 loss to Francisco Cerundolo.
Cerundolo cracked 24 winners, nine more than Medvedev, in handing the Dubai champion just his second loss in his last 13 matches.
The 18th-seeded Cerundolo will face left-handed Frenchman Ugo Humbert for a quarterfinal spot.
The 31st-seeded Humbert hammered 14 aces and no double faults in a 6-4, 7-6(2) victory over Alexander Shevchenko.
On Grandstand Court, another French lefty, Terence Atmane, continued his inspired surge.
Atmane upset seventh-seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 on the strength of two service breaks.
World No. 53 Atmane will face either defending champion Jakub Mensik or American Frances Tiafoe next.
