— WTA (@WTA) June 12, 2017The Roland Garros finalists are making a surge up the rankings on Monday, as runner-up Simona Halep has reclaimed the No.2 ranking while Jelena Ostapenko has climbed 35 spots to a career-high ranking of No.12 in the world on the heels of her Roland Garros title.Also making significant strides are Caroline Wozniacki, who climbs back into the Top 10 for the first time since 2015 at No.7 after reaching the quarterfinals at Paris.Elina Svitolina, a semifinalist at Roland Garros, makes her Top 5 debut at No.5, while last year’s Roland Garros champion takes a hit—Garbine Muguruza falls from No. 5 to No.15.

Other notable risers include Anett Kontaveit and Oceane Dodin, who make their Top 50 debuts at No.49 and No.46 respectively. Belgium’s Elise Mertens rises nine spots to No.51 thanks to her first career third-round performance at a major and Paruguay’s Veronica Cepede Royg climbs to a career-high No.78 in the rankings thanks to reaching the second week in Paris.

Dutchwoman Richel Hogenkamp makes her Top 100 debut at No.100 while 17-year-old Marketa Vondrousova cracks another career-high by reaching the second round in Paris. She was 421 at the beginning of the season. ]]>
