Opelka Among Four Former Champions Entered in Delray Beach

A wave of four former champions highlights the Delray Beach field.Reigning champion Reilly Opelka headlines the field that features Frances Tiafoe (2018 champion), Sam Querrey (2017) and Kei Nishikori, who won his first career ATP title at the 2008 Delray Beach event. An additional four players will be added through a two-round qualifier while three players will be awarded wild cards by the tournament.Originally scheduled for February, the 2021 Delray Beach Open will now take place January 4-13th.The ATP Champions Tour legends event will begin the action January 4-6th. ATP qualifying matches will take place January 5-6th.The main draw for the ATP 250 tournament, which will feature 16 doubles teams in addition to the 28-player singles field, will begin Thursday, January 7th with two sessions each day until the finals are contested during a single session on Wednesday, January 13th.
