By Chris Oddo | @TheFanChild | Thursday November 12, 2020The draws for the 2020 Nitto ATP Finals have been set, with four players drawn into two groups that are named after the first and last cities to host the event.Tennis ExpressIn “Group Tokyo 1970” we have Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev and Diego Schwartzman, and in “Group London 2020” we have Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Dominic Thiem and Andrey Rublev.

The three former champions in the field are five-time titlist Djokovic, 2018 champion Zverev and last year's winner Tsitsipas. Rublev and Schwartzman are making their debut at the event.Nadal has qualified for the ATP Finals every year since 2005, but has skipped due to injuries on six occasions. He owns an 18-14 lifetime record and is still bidding for his first title. Thiem, who was a finalist last year, is making his third appearance, while Medvedev, who went 0-3 in round robin play in 2019 is making his second. It should make for some interesting matchups when play begins on Sunday in London. Denis Shapovalov and Matteo Berrettini are on site as alternates, should any of the elite eight become injured.
