Medvedev Returns To Top 10 After Indian Wells
Jannik Sinner solidified his spot in the ATP rankings with his 25th career title – and first at Indian Wells – this weekend, and the Italian also climbs into second place in the live rankings, 1000 points behind No.1 Carlos Alcaraz.

Meanwhile, Daniil Medvedev makes a long awaited return to the Top 10, thanks to his runner-up performance in the California desert, which featured a semifinal takedown of World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz.
Medvedev to No.10
Medvedev returns to the Top 10 for the first time since last July after reaching the final in Indian Wells. The 30-year-old did not drop a set en route to the title match and defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the semis before Sinner finally stopped him in two tight tiebreaks. .
“It’s a good feeling, but I always said that when I play well, I will return to the top 10. I played well.
“For example, the end of the season, I was very close to finish in the year in the top 10 where there were some stretches of the year where it was horrible, and I was not getting any points.:
“So if I manage to continue this level, I will be at one point in top 10, maybe top 5.”
Tien Closing in on Top 20
20-year-old Tien became the youngest American man to reach the quarter-finals in Indian Wells since his coach Michael Chang in 1992. The Irvine, California native took out Ben Shelton, then saved two match points in his fourth-round win against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, before falling to Jannik Sinner.
Quinn, King of Arizona
Fresno, California native Ethan Quinn has jumped to a career-high No. 56 after winning a challenger title in Arizona. The 22-year-old lifted the ATP Challenger trophy in Phoenix, beating Marcos Giron in three sets for the title.
Mariano Navone +18
Argentina’s Mariano Navone jumps 18 spots after taking the honors at the ATP Challenger event in Cap Cana. The Argentine beat Mattia Bellucci in the title match.
