Massú Signs With Dunlop

Dunlop has entered the golden age.Two-time Olympic gold-medal champion Nicolás Massú has signed on as Dunlop brand ambassador.Watch: Sharapova, Djokovic, Nadal Take Target PracticeMassu, a former Top 10 player and current coach to Dominic Thiem, joins Patrick Mouratoglou and Brad Stine as highly visible Tour level coaches representing team Dunlop.“I am very happy to join the Dunlop family and to help with their mission of growing the game across the world,” said Massú. “We all know Dunlop as an incredible brand with a long tradition, but the investment they have made in tennis over the past three years has been extraordinary. As a coach and ambassador I hope to continue their growth.”In perhaps the most memorable moment of his professional career, Massú delivered two gold medals to his home country of Chile in the 2004 Olympics. Massú defeated Mardy Fish to win the singles gold and partnered compatriot Fernando Gonzalez to strike gold in doubles.

He also won six ATP titles and reached a career-high ranking of No. 9 in 2004. Massú began coaching Thiem in early 2019.
