Babolat brought the party to Tokyo this week.

Babolat, the brand that invented tennis strings in 1875, continued its 150th anniversary celebration at the Japan Open.

The celebration started in January with a party held in Australia, prior to the 2025 Australian Open at the opening tennis season, and this past week with an event in Japan on September 22nd at Grand Nikko Tokyo Odaiba.

World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, who has played with Babolat since age 10 and won the Tokyo title, was among the players celebrating the brand’s anniversary.

Babolat VS Japan Co., Ltd. held a 150th anniversary party on September 22nd in conjunction with the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships 2025.

CEO Eric Babolat also joined the special occasion, which was mainly attended by business partners, Babolat athletes Jordan Thompson, Yosuke Watanuki, and Edouard Roger-Vasselin in the photo above
