It’s tough news for the event to lose its marquee player, but Zverev has outgrown this event—the German is currently ranked No.5 in the ATP and he’s claimed five titles this season, including two at the Masters 1000 level.Zverev has already qualified for this year’s ATP World Tour Finals in London and he’s currently playing Vienna and scheduled to play Paris next week. That’s a lot of tennis, even for a 20-year-old.He’ll be well served by skipping Milan and letting the rest of the tour’s rising stars fight for the title at the inaugural event. ]]>
