Alcaraz, Sinner Neck-and-Neck in the Race to Turin
The race to No.1 is already heating up on the men’s side, as just 50 points separates Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner in this week’s standings.
Alcaraz, already in his sixth stint at No.1, will tie Sinner for 12th on the ATP’s all-time list for total weeks at No.1 next week with 66. Alcaraz has held the top spot for the last 21 weeks.

Alcaraz leads Sinner by 1190 points in the rankings, but he’ll be defending 4,330 points through Roland-Garros, as he won titles in Monte-Carlo, Rome and Paris last year. Sinner, meanwhile, will defend 1950 points, as he reached the final at Rome and Roland-Garros, but didn’t play anywhere else on clay last season.
Sinner powered up the standings by winning the Sunshine Double this month, and he did it without dropping a single set. The Italian became the first player to ever win the Sunshine Double without the loss of a set and he has now won 17 consecutive Masters 1000 matches without dropping a set, dating back to the start of his title run at Paris last fall.
Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic round out the Top 5 in the race, while 21-year-old Arthur Fils jumps into position at No.8.

Career-Highs for Lehecka, Jodar
Jiri Lehecka jumps eight spots to No. 14 as a result of his run to the final in Miami, the 24-year-old Czech hitting a career-high in the process. Lehecka reached his first Masters final, and become the first player to reach the final at any Masters event without dropping serve since Novak Djokovic in Shanghai in 2018.
19-year-old Spaniard Rafael Jodar pushes up 20 spots to a career-high of No. 89. The former Virgina Cavalier, the 2024 US Open Boys champion, was ranked No. 911 at the start of 2025.
Jodar is one of two teenagers, along with No. 40-ranked Joao Fonseca, in the Top 100.
Roman Andres Burrachaga of Argentina kicks up 26 spots to a career-high of No. 77 after winning the Sao Paolo Challenger title last week.
