Djere out-dueled Baez 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 to collect his third career title on the red clay of Santiago in a Chile Open thriller.

It is Djere's 150th career match win and it comes five years after his last Tour-level championship in Sardinia.

The 103rd-ranked Djere is the first man ranked outside of the Top 100 to win an ATP title in 2025 in a victory that will vault him back inside the Top 100.

A year ago, Baez rallied from a set down defeating Chilean home hero Alejandro Tabilo in three sets for his second consecutive clay-court crown.

Tonight, Djere served for the title at 5-3 only to see Baez break at 15.

The third-seeded Baez won eight of nine points leveling the decider at 5-all.

Amping up the pace of his drives, Djere won five points in a row to close his third title.
