Serena Williams may be the top dog in the last four big events of the WTA season, but she's still only No. 3 in the lastest women's rankings.
 
After winning the year-end champions, Williams closed within 1,195 points of No. 1 Victoria Azarenka and 645 points of No. 2 Maria Sharapova. The top five players remained the same, followed by new No. 6 Sara Errani and new No. 7 Li Na. Petra Kvitova dropped from sixth to eighth, with Samantha Stosur and Marion Bartoli rounding out the Top 10. 
 
Caroline Wozniacki, who began 2012 ranked No. 1, is 11th, following a 46-20 campaign that saw her miss the year-end championships.
 
There were no changes in the men's Top 10, however Alexandr Dolgopolov moved from 21st to 18th. The Ukrainian is 34-24 on the season and reached the finals of Valencia last week, losing to David FerrerRoger Federer is stil holding on to the No. 1 ranking but has lost the battle for the No. 1 player of 2012 to Novak Djokovic.
