Dominika Cibulkova is gearing up for a grass-court return.

The 2014 Australian Open finalist, who underwent surgery on her left heel earlier this year, is practicing ahead of her planned comeback at Eastbourne, starting June 21st.

"This week I am really working hard, I would compare it to off season trainings in Florida," Cibulkova told her official web site, domicibulkova.com. "It is really tough, I have around five sessions per day. Foot is doing fine, that's most important."

The world No. 49, who fell to eventual-champion Serena Williams in the Australian Open quarterfinals in January, has not played a WTA match since losing to Andrea Petkovic in the Antwerp quarterfinals in February.

Cibulkova said she has been hitting on hard courts in an effort to regain her timing with a truer bounce, but plans to practice on grass starting tomorrow.

"I start late on grass, because I have not played for two and a half months, and at first I wanted to get back the good feeling, rhythm and timing," Cibulkova said. "On grass it would be more difficult, as there are not so many rallies on it. I want to find my rhythm and then we will adapt to the grass courts."
