Cibulkova In Doubt for Olympics

Dominika Cibulkova may have suffered a double loss in Montreal.

After suffering a 6-2, 6-0 thrashing to Genie Bouchard, Cibulkova, who has been battling a health issue, said her participation in the Rio Olympics Games is in doubt.

"She played really, really good, so she earned the win. But you're right, I'm having little health issues since Stanford and before," Cibulkova told the media in Montreal. "I was supposed to fly from here to Olympic Games, but I'm having the health issues, so I have to fly back home to see my doctor and see what is happening.

"So I hope it will be fine and I will be ready for Olympics, but right now it's not looking good."

It has been a busy month for the former Australian Open finalist, who beat Bouchard and Agnieszka Radwanska en route to the Wimbledon quarterfinals, married her long-time fiance on July 9th and returned to the world's Top 10.

Belinda Bencic, Simona Halep, Milos Raonic, Tomas Berdych and Lleyton Hewitt, who was tabbed to coach the Australian  Olympic team, have all pulled out of Rio.
