Kyrgios: I Would Be Banned Six Years

Nick Kyrgios has suffered his share of meltdowns on court.

After seeing Hopman Cup teammate Daria Gavrilova's racquet-tossing eruption in Acapulco, Kyrgios said if he committed such a transgression it could cost him six years of his career.

During the second set of Gavrilova's 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 Acapulco victory over American Madison Brengle in Acapulco, the Aussie punctuated a double fault hurling her racquet toward net.

The flying racquet narrowly missed a ball kid who was running to pick up the stray ball near net.

Kyrgios, who saw the incident unfold, weighed in with this tweet.
