Roger Federer and wife Mirka dined at Eleven Madison Park on Wednesday, August 22, and closed down the award-winning restaurant, chatting into the early hours of the morning. Eleven Madison won the 2011 James Beard award for restaurant of the year. In addition, Swiss chef Daniel Humm from Eleven Madison Park won the James Beard award for best chef in America this year.

Last Saturday, August 25, Federer hosted a party of 10 at Humm’s other restaurant, NoMad. Roger was celebrating Mary Jo Fernandez’s birthday with a private dining experience in the Fireplace Room. Fernandez is married to Federer’s agent, Tony Godsick. Chef Humm was on hand to cook his signature chicken dish for the festivities.
