Video: ATP’s Elite Crams into the London Tube for Trip to Westminster


The ATP’s elite took the London Underground from the North Greenwich stop to Westminster on Friday, braving rush hour and bringing along a cameraman to ensure that the proceedings were properly documented for the ages.Nobody got hurt, and everybody smiled—it was a win-win. The players mingled with star struck fans and got out at Westminster to visit the House of ParliamentCheck out the above footage below as tennis’ most well-known megastars rubbed elbows with the public. The Austrian does a heck of a job and evens throws in a few probing interview questions to his peers.

American John Isner, who is making his ATP Finals debut, gave the experience a thumbs up.“Although we’ve probably all ridden on the Tube a time or two, this was very different,” he said. “It’s a very cool way to make an entrance. There were quite a few surprised looks on the faces of folks, especially when Roger and Novak walked by. It was a pretty cool treat for them.”Find more great photos of the event below:
