Report: Draper Hires Jamie Delgado, Murray’s Former Boss, to Lead Coaching Team
Jack Draper has tabbed Jamie Delgado to lead his coaching team in 2026.

While Jack Draper has been away from the game rehabbing his left arm injury (he won’t return til next year, but will play the UTS Grand Final in December), he’s also been doing some wheeling and dealing. Stuart Fraser of the London Times reports that the top Brit has hired Jamie Delgado, former coach of Andy Murray and Grigor Dimitrov, to lead his team.

According to Fraser James Trotman will remain with the team, but will travel less.
Thus the revamp of Draper’s team continues to mirror that of Murray’s. He has already added Matt Little as a fitness trainer and Shane Annun as a physio, who both worked with Murray and Delgado in the past.
Draper, currently ranked No.8, reached a career-high ranking of No.4 after claiming his maiden Masters title at Indian Wells this year. He has only played one match since Wimbledon.
Tennis ExpressHe went 30-9 overall on the year.
“Unfortunately the injury to my arm is something I have to rest and means I’ll be sitting out the rest of 2025,” Draper wrote on social media after the US Open. “It is very difficult for me to accept as I was building some incredible momentum this year and playing some great stuff.”
