Martic will play for her second career title and first since 2019 Istanbul tomorrow.

"It's a big deal for me ... it's been a while since I've been in a final," Martic said. "I was just happy that I managed to raise my level from one match to another. Today, I played my best match and my best tennis when it was needed."

Martic will meet Serbian qualifier Olga Danilovic in tomorrow's final.

The 124th-ranked Danilovic continued her inspired run through the field dispatching Anastasia Potapova 6-3, 6-2 to power into the final.

The woman who saved match point in her second-round win over Anna Kalinskaya is the fifth qualifier to reach a WTA final this season.

The 21-year-old from Belgrade beat Martic in their lone prior meeting. Danilovic scored a 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 win over Martic in the 2021 Australian Open first round.
