When Agnieszka Radwanska takes the court, fans know there’s always the potential for shotmaking genius. They don’t call her “the Ninja” for nothing. The 26-year-old Pole can create magnificent, creative angles and trajectories that most players wouldn’t even dare to dream about, and she did that several times on this rollicking point during her Tokyo semifinal with Dominika Cibulkova.

More: Bencic, Radwanska Reach Tokyo Final

Radwanska rose to the challenge each and every time that Cibulkova threatened her, reading and reacting to the play and countering the Slovakian’s every move like Garry Kasparov with a Babolat Pure Drive.

Finally, Radwanska went for the kill off the backhand side, hammering a down-the-line winner that Cibulkova was too tired to chase. It was a fitting end to a fantastic point, and it propelled Radwanska—she would only lose one more game from this point on, claiming the 6-4, 6-1 victory to reach her third Toray Pan Pacific final.

Radwanska improves to 24-5 at the event and will face Belinda Bencic in the final.
