Casper Ruud has cracked an important life milestone. The Norwegian announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Maria Galligani.
“I can’t wait to marry you,” Ruud posted as a caption to a photo of the happy couple on Instagram.
Three photos of the couple show Galligani sporting a hefty ring.
Colleagues were quick to reply to the post with congratulations, including Maribel Nadal, the sister of Rafael Nadal, Denis Shapovalov, Kim Clijsters, Stefanos Tsitisipas and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
25-year-old Ruud is currently ranked 6th in the world. The three-time major finalist won 51 matches on tour and claimed a pair of ATP titles in 2024, in Barcelona and Geneva.
