Japan’s Kei Nishikori became the fifth player to qualify for this year’s ATP World Tour Finals in London, joining Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Stan Wawrinka and Milos Raonic.

Nishikori will make his third trip to the prestigious year-end championships. He owns a lifetime 3-4 record at the event and reached the semifinal in 2014.

“I am very excited to come back to London this year,” said Nishikori. “It’s been a very consistent year so far and I am excited to be part of this elite group again. Last year the atmosphere in London was incredible and I look forward to seeing a lot of Japanese support in the crowd again this year.”

Nishikori owns a 52-16 record on the season, which includes a title in Memphis and finals in Miami, Barcelona and the Rogers Cup.

Nishikori went 15-4 at majors and reached the second week of all four Slams. He reached the semifinals at the U.S. Open and the quarterfinals at the Australian Open.

There are still three spots left to be claimed for the Nov. 13-20 event. Gael Monfils, Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem currently occupy those spots, but plenty of tennis has yet to be played.
