Hingis and Mirza, who won their first 14 matches consecutively, have now won 13 in a row. They have won the US Open, Guangzhou and Wuhan consecutively.
They didn’t drop a set en route to the title.
"We give our best every match—that's why we're winning in straight sets," Mirza said. "If we slack a little bit, you end up in a super tie-break and it's a toss-up. Every team is as good as the other."
Hingis, who turned 35 on September 30, defended the title, as she won last year alongside Flavia Pennetta in Wuhan.
"Maybe Niculescu and Begu weren't as experienced as a team as other teams, but they got to the final, so they're playing really well," Hingis said, according to WTATennis.com. "You need to get up and beat them, and do your job."
Hingis has now won 48 doubles titles; Mirza has won 30.
Begu and Niculescu reached the final in their first outing as a team at Wuhan.
