The losing slide continues for Agnieszka Radwanska.
The 14th-seeded Radwanska suffered her first French Open first-round loss since her 2007 Paris debut, falling to Annika Beck, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.
It was Radwanska's fifth loss in her last eight matches.

Radwanska sounded relieved her clay campaign is over.
"Well clay season is not really my favorite one, and I guess it's not getting better, even when I'm really trying to do everything," Radwanska said in her post-match press conference. "So I just want to forget about that and focus on grass, i guess."
It has been a turbulent stretch for the former world No. 2. Radwanska, who split with co-coach Martina Navratilova earlier this month, has reached just one semifinal in 10 tournament starts this season. That came in Katowice where the Pole lost to Camilia Giorgi before her home fans.
One of the game's shrewdest problem-solvers says her inability to find solutions on court makes her "nervous and angry."
"Of course I'm not getting nervous because of the pressure; just getting nervous because I can't really do what I want on court and it's not really working," Radwanska said. "That makes me nervous and angry. That way, yeah."
