Caroline Wozniacki won her comeback match in Nottingham yesterday, but the physical punishment of the pro circuit may be catching up to her.
Wozniacki, who missed the entire clay-court season with an ankle injury, tells Esquire Magazine "not a day goes by when something doesn't hurt."

"At a certain point, the body just takes a beating," Wozniacki says. "I was fifteen when I first got on the tour. After a match, I'd be in the training room thinking, What's everybody getting all these treatments for? Now not a day goes by when something doesn't hurt. Nothing is forever. If you can have fifteen years doing what you love to do, playing well in front of great crowds, then that's a great career."
The former world No. 1, whose split with former fiancé Rory McIlroy generated global headlines, says she's not seeking a serious relationship at this point in her life.
"I mean, at some point I'd really like to find somebody—maybe another athlete, maybe not—and start a family, but I think for now that it's a ways off," Wozniacki told Esquire. "I'm only twenty-five. Right now there's just too much to do."
