Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, player and coach? It wasn’t a dream.
The pair really are working together and they’ve been seen on court in Melbourne, where Djokovic is ramping up his preparations to make a run at a 25th major title at the Australian Open.
Djokovic and Murray conducted their first ever Grand Slam practice session, and the Grand Slam king battled in a practice set with his young rival Carlos Alcaraz. According to journalist Tumaini Carayol, Djokovic won that set, 7-5.
Now we wait for the Australian Open draw, which will take place on Thursday at 1PM local time… Djokovic, who boasts a 94-9 lifetime record in Melbourne, is also bidding for his 100th career title this month at Melbourne, and a record 11th triumph at the Australian Open.
