Serena Williams voiced her frustration about losing at Roland Garros in a video released by Uninterrupted.

“I thought I could have really done everything five times better, and I didn’t,” says Williams of her loss to Garbiñe Muguruza in the Roland Garros final.

The 21-time major champion says she was so pissed about her performance that she abandoned her racquets in France.

“I was really pissed,” Williams said. “I have to admit. I was so pissed that I actually abandoned my racquets in France after maybe a few smashes of the racquet bag. I felt like if I was going to play that awful and that crappy that maybe I don’t need racquets.”

But Williams turned things positive at the end of the video. Could it be that Serena is gearing up for a Wimbledon run? “Sometimes you have to work extra hard,” says Williams, from the practice court. “I’m out here by myself because sometimes by yourself is when the great things really happen.”
