The top-seeded Federer plays for his record-extending ninth Halle title this week. He opens against German Jan-Lennard Struff tomorrow and looks pretty relaxed.
It was post-practice fun and perhaps there was a little payback as well.
Stakhovsky shocked Federer, 6-7 (5), 7-6 (5), 7-5, 7-6 (5) in the second round of the 2013 Wimbledon.
Though it's been an injury-plagued season for Federer, who underwent knee surgery in February and was hampered by a lower-back injury during the spring, the Swiss has shown a happy face in tournament appearances, including this Rome run-in with Snoopy.
