The Seventh Movement's Wimbledon 2012 coverage

If you watched Wimbledon 2012 on ESPN you've heard of the Seventh Movement -- even if you haven't heard of them. How? Well, their amazing and creative interpretations of this year's Wimbledon routinely added an artistic element to ESPN's comprehensive coverage of The Championships. Did you notice all those mind-blowingly cool transitions from commercials and other assorted artistic footage that kept propping up during the coverage? Well, turns out we've got the Seventh Movement to thank.

The video below was pulled from the 10 days of footage that the group of cinematographers took while on paid vacation at tennis' Mecca. Produced by Steve Lawrence, the Seventh Movement's breathtakingly awesome time-lapse footage of everything from Wimbledon's grass mowers to boat traffic on the Thames to Federer serving was an integral, though oft-unrecognized element of ESPN's production. View their tribute video below and prepare to be blown away.
