Tennis stars turned into high rollers at the Australian Open.

Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Marin Cilic, Milos Raonic, Borna Coric, Marcelo Melo and Nick Kyrgios were among several players who tested their skills—and patience—in a tennis-bowling challenge.

Video: Tsonga Aids Injured Ball Girl

Rolling tennis balls at tennis ball cans recycled as bowling pins, the pros showed wildly different approaches to the game.

A few things we learned watching the video above:

1. If you ever run into Nick Kyrgios in a bowling alley, be sure to duck.
2. Tennis isn't the only sport subject to Andy Murray's verbal outbursts of frustration.
3. If a tennis-bowling Grand Slam is ever staged, Robin Haase and Donald Young are title contenders.
4. Roger Federer's sporting philosophy: Save the big shot for last.

The land Down Under has provided some entertaining variations on the game. Lleyton Hewitt, Kyrgios, Rafael Nadal and Gael Monfils were among the players who competed in the Fast 4 Tennis exhibition before the Australian Open began.
