Richard Gasquet
didn't win on Sunday in Canada, but his spot in the Rogers Cup final did wonders for his ranking.

Gasquet soared eight spots to No. 13 in the world after losing to Novak Djokovic on Sunday, his highest rank since late August 2011.

By repeating as Rogers Cup champion, Djokovic kept the heat on No. 1 Roger Federer, trailing the Swiss by 75 points.

Inside the Top 10, Janko Tipsarevic bypassed Juan Martin Del Potro for eighth place, and American John Isner retook 10th from Juan Monaco, thanks to his appearance in the Rogers Cup semifinals.

Also making a sizable move inside the Top 20 was Canada's own Milos Raonic, who jumped five spots to a career-best No. 19 following a quarterfinal appearance at the Rogers Cup. Raonic, still just 21 years old, is 30-13 on the season.

Moving in the opposite direction was American Mardy Fish, who slid seven spots to No. 20 by falling in the Rogers Cup quarterfinals one year after reaching the tournament's final. This is Fish's lowest ranking since September of 2010.

There were three moves in the Top 10 of the latest WTA rankings as Rogers Cup winner Petra Kvitova took back the No. 5 spot in the world from Samantha Stosur.

Rogers Cup runner-up Li Na surged back into the Top 10 from 11th to ninth, with Sara Errani falling to ninth 10th and Martion Bartoli to 11th.

With the rankings as they are now, 13 different countries are represented by the Top 13 players in the world -- Belarus, Russia, Poland, the US, the Czech Republic, Australia, Germany, Denmark, China, Italy, France, Serbia and Slovakia.
