7th-seeded David Ferrer has pulled out of this week’s Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters with a calf injury. The 34-year-old Spaniard, who was slated to face Alexander Zverev in the second round, will be replaced by lucky loser Marcel Granollers in the main draw.
Ferrer is 12-7 on the season but has dropped three of his last five. He is scheduled to play Barcelona next week.
