Weary of playing the waiting game, Stefanos Tsitsipas returned to the winner’s circle today.

Tsitsipas defeated Raphael Collignon 6-4, 6-7(3), 6-3 to capture his 13th career championship at the Swiss Open Gstaad today.

It is Tsitsipas’s first title since he defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in the 2025 Dubai final.

“I’d like to start by mentioning how amazing the final was today,” Tsitsipas told fans afterward. “We both gave it our all. You make it so majestic for us…

“So thank you for creating the atmosphere and thank you for being here to support all the players this week…. It’s been a long time so it does mean a lot to me.”

A fired-up Tsitsipas smacked four aces against no double faults, won 21 of 29 second-serve points and saved two of four break points he faced in a two hour, 17-minute triumph.

The 27-year-old Greek won his sixth career clay-court crown, improving to 6-8 in career clay-court finals.
