Ben Shelton has had a brilliant season that saw him become a Grand Slam finalist at the US Open in September. He’s hoping to finish 2026 with a bang in Turin.

The American has qualified for this year’s ATP Finals for the second time, joining Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz as the third ATP player to qualify for the eight-player field at the season-ending championships.
24-year-old Shelton, 40-17 on the season, is at a career-high ranking of No.4 thanks to his trip to the US Open final. The southpaw has won titles in Munich, Dallas, Stuttgart and Montreal this season, and is one of five ATP players to have won three or more titles, along with Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
Shelton went winless on his ATP Finals debut last year, losing to Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev and Felix Auger-Aliassime in round robin play.
Five singles spots still remain open at the ATP Finals.
