Resurgent Navarro and Bouzkova Set Nottingham Final
The American is into her second final in as many months, and her first on grass.

Emma Navarro and Marie Bouzkova will battle for the Nottingham final on Sunday.
Bouzkova took out former World No.1 Karolina Pliskova, 6-4, 6-1, while Navarro reached her second final in as many months with a 7-6(5), 6-2 victory over Switzerland’s Viktorija Golubic.

2022 Wimbledon quarterfinalist Bouzkova has yet to drop a set this week, or even be pushed to a tiebreak, as she reached her first career grass court final.
Navarro, a 2024 Wimbledon quarterfinalist who won a clay title at Strasbourg just before Roland Garros, is into her first career final on grass as well.
Both Navarro and Bouzkova will bid for a fourth career title on Sunday. The pair have never met before on tour.
Tennis Express“It was a really tough battle today,” Navarro said of her victory over Golubic. “A lot of really tough points, and it wasn’t easy, being up 5-2 in the first, and then losing three games in a row.”
Are we seeing the best of Emma Navarro again, after a rough period saw the American drop out of the top 30 for a spell this spring?
“I don’t want to put a ceiling on myself, I guess, but I’m enjoying myself on court and playing some good tennis, too.”
